Elemental Holds is a collection of sculptural brass hardware that can be used as hooks or cabinet pulls. Inspired by organic forms, these symbolic and familiar shapes are part of our primary visual language, and they inform multiple Fort Makers collections.
Brass is a living material and its surface changes and develops a natural patina over time due to oxidation and interaction with environmental factors. While brass can be cleaned to restore its shine, allowing it to "live" means accepting the natural changes and appreciating the evolving patina as part of its beauty. All pieces are sand-cast in small batches and finished by hand. Slight variations will occur.
